Then you have to wait no longer, as Microsoft is finally pushing the update Today ! PS-If you are among the 1,000,000 people that got banned these past weeks.. then you certainly not be getting the update lol…

Microsoft’s Project Natal, an addon for the Xbox 360 that would allow controller-free gaming, has made it into Time’s list of the 50 best inventions of 2009. Project enables players to control games using only body movements and voice commands, no controller required — the gamer’s body becomes the controller. It achieves this by using several cameras, plus a highly specialized microphone and a lot of fancy software, to track the gamer’s body and interpret his or her voice.

It seems like yesterday when Youtube started support for HD video. But now they are going one step further by allowing 720p and 1080p content in their site. That is, if the original source allows it. Nowadays, small 1080p camcorders seem to be pretty cheap and if you are into making youtube videos, you should grab one. There is a test video already up here. [via MaximumPc]

An Xbox 360 modder was caught this week for selling illegal copies of the unreleased Modern Warfare 2 game. Infinity Ward hired IPCybercrime, a Private Investigation firm, to put an end to piracy on their game the same week in which the most anticipated game of the year, Modern Warfare 2, is been released. VenturaBeat, who broke the story a couple days ago, reports that the modder uploaded a rip of the game as early as last week.

Finally, Microsoft has confirmed the soon-to-be released 802.11n wireless adapter for your Xbox 360. I guess Microsoft wanted to wait until IEEE finally ratified 802.11n standards. The actual price has not been disclosed as of yet… but as Joystiq reports, the Wireless-N adapter will not be replacing the current Wireless-G one.
